We are thrilled that Lars Enok Åhlund, in addition to his Fantomen in elegant Cosmic Blackburst finish, has chosen the recently introduced new generation of the Super Swede. Along with the long scale length (25.5'/648mm) already familiar from the Fantomen, the small details make the difference for him. For example, stainless steel frets or the generously and comfortably sculpted Nape Tenon neck-to-body joint. The proven combination of Lundgren Design Humbuckers, No.2 at the neck, and Lundgren Design No.5 at the bridge, along with individual coil splitting via push/pull, are of course ideal partners for the sonic soundscapes that make up Soen -s demanding blend of "Melodic, Heavy & Intricate".
Being the band's multi-instrumentalist (guitar/keyboards/vocals), the new Super Swede is the ideal partner, providing the finishing touch to his role as both rhythm and lead guitarist.
